Speaker Bio

Lisa DeBenedictis is an Emmy-nominated television and film writer who has dabbled in and out of documentary production, political consulting, and new media. Her accomplishments include the prestigious Humanitas Prize, a Cable Ace Award nomination, and numerous Writers’ Guild awards. She is tireless in her attempts to promote the arts and to advocate for fine artists and musicians.

She is a mother to two very gifted children Emilia Winter Rowland and Dashiel Zane Rowland. SHORT SKIRTS AND SHORTER STORIES is her first collection of short stories; it’s available in paperback, ebook formats, and audiobooks.
